How to solve the problem of tablet weight difference
Sometimes tablet manufacturers get the trouble during their tablet production that tablet weight difference is too much and the pressing pressure changes from time to time and not stable, now we provide some experience here for your reference:

1. Pressure is unstable, possibly affected by unstable filling depth unstable or unstable tablet thickness:
1.1 Unstable Filling quantity: please check:
1.1-a: if the filling cam is in good condition, if the filling cam shaking during the running,
1.1-b: if the salt material loading speed and quantity is stable or not, salt dropping speed or draping quantity will possibly affect the salt density which is filled into the die cavity, and cause pressure fluctuation.
1.1-c: if the filling cam is worn out, it will also affect the filling quantity
1.1-d: if the lower punches length is different, the filling quantity will be different accordingly,
1.1-e: you can take 51 salt tablets in sequence and check the grams one by one, the salt weight difference will tell you if the filling depth is stable or not.
1.2 Unstable Tablet thickness:
1.2-a: check the upper roller to see if it is tightly fixed,
1.2-b: check the lower roller position to see if it shakes during running, if the lower roller shakes or jumping, the pressure will fluctuate accordingly
1.2-c: check if the roller surface is worn down and uneven, the uneven surface on the roller will cause fluctuation of pressure.
1.2-d: check if all the punches lengths are of same, if the length of the punches are different, the pressure will also fluctuate.

2. Pressure drops slowly during running:
You didn’t specify if any operation was done when the pressure start to drop, we give some ideas which may possibly cause the pressure change:
2.1 when operator starts up the machine, the speed is slow at the beginning, and the salt filling time is comparatively longer, and more salt can be pushed into the die cavity by the force feeder, thereby pressure is relatively bigger, but when the machine speeds up, the filling time becomes shorter, and the salt filling quantity become less accordingly, the salt thickness is fixed at the moment, then the pressure will become less synchronously. So the operator should increase the filling depth little by little while the machine speeds up to keep the filling quantity as same as possible, which will be helpful to maintain the stable pressure. Controversy operation need to be done if the operator slows down the machine, otherwise, the pressure will become bigger because of the increased filling quantity.
2.2 If above operations are carried out correctly, and pressure still does down slowly, you need to check support structure of the lower compression roller, if it becomes worn down slowly, the roller position become lower relatively, and the pressure will become smaller synchronously.
